Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a quickstart "validated"?

We run three types of checks: AI analysis of clarity and completeness, automated execution of every command in a sandboxed environment, and (for Enterprise) human testing by real developers. A quickstart is validated when it passes all applicable checks.

What if my quickstart fails validation?

You'll get a detailed report showing exactly what failed and why. We highlight missing steps, unclear instructions, and commands that don't work. Fix the issues in your repo, and we'll automatically re-validate.

Do you support private repositories?

Yes. We integrate via GitHub App with minimal permissions. Your code stays private—we only read your documentation files.

Can I use my own domain?

Enterprise plans include custom domain support. Your quickstart can live at docs.yourcompany.com/quickstart instead of quickstart.md/yourcompany.

What languages and frameworks do you support?

Our AI analysis works with any language. Automated execution testing currently supports Node.js, Python, Go, Ruby, and shell scripts. More coming soon.

How do alerts work?

Pro and Enterprise plans get Slack or Discord notifications when validation fails. You'll know about broken quickstarts before your users do.
